Panoramic view of Sydney Harbor on my new Waterproof point and shoot camera that Jason gave me for Christmas

My favorite man in front of my favorite building

Every afternoon in the Blue Mountains, right before sunset we would spot herds of huge kangaroos out in the fields.

In just a dozen bounds, these kangaroos could span the length of a football field. They are about 6 feet tall and SO fast! It was like I was standing in Jurassic Park. So surreal!

I love this view of the Blue Mountains behind the herd of kangaroos. The mountains have their blue color because of the Eucalyptus oil that evaporates into the atmosphere.

The watering hole behind Kristie and Johan’s ranch house where we were staying. It was like being on a Kangaroos Safari every afternoon here.

Don’t let their cuteness fool you. They will completely kick your ass☺

Captain Cook’s famous ship. Jason and I walked inside of it and even crawled through the Captain’s quarters. It’s amazing that men lived in those conditions for months at a time!

This bird looks like it hasn’t really completely evolved from dinosaurs yet. Such an amazing creature.

A Wallaby, the cuter, smaller version of the huge Grey Roos we saw out in the countryside.

Wine tasting out in Mudgee in the Blue Mountains. They’re famous for their Syrahs.

I LOVE the color of this limestone lake that formed near the Jenolan Caves. SO far Jason and I have explored 4 cave systems together. I still think Luray in Virginia is the best☺

Kristie and Johan Nilsson…the best hosts and friends you could ask for..oh, yeah, AND they are a former bride and groom of mine☺

Looking up in the Jenolan Caves

Just one example of the dramatic plateaus and rock formations in the Blue Mountains.

The view from Scenic World in Leura, Blue Mountains.

The famous Three Sisters Rock Formation

Our amazing New Years Eve Seafood feast! Kristie and Johan ordered in Lobster Tails and their parents were all there. We brought out blankets under the stars and watched the Sydney Fireworks on the TV outside while eating fruit, cream and champagne. Such a great way to bring in 2013!
